Holiday Home "Vecliberti"
Historic Countryside Homestead Near Cēsis
A place where time moves more slowly – a 160-year-old country house just a 7-minute drive from Cēsis. Evening sunlight streaming through the windows, century-old oak trees in the yard, the songs of countless birds in the garden, and a sense of peace that is hard to find in the city. The house has preserved its historic character and old-world atmosphere while offering the essential comforts needed for a relaxing stay. It is not perfectly polished like something from a catalog, but authentic – with its own story, history, and charm. A place for unhurried holidays and peaceful relaxation in the countryside.
Guests have access to one half of the house (approximately 100 m²), as well as the entire surrounding property during their stay. The house features a bedroom with a spacious bed, a living room with a sofa, a small kitchen, and a charming enclosed veranda where you can enjoy meals accompanied by birdsong. Outside, there is a large yard with a fire pit, barbecue grill, swings, and a hammock, as well as a unique local landmark – a monument dedicated to the last Livonian family line of Vidzeme.
All guests are welcomed by the hostess, who introduces them to the house and its history. The property is suitable for a family or a group of friends of up to four people.
