Āraiši ezerpils Archaeological Park
Āraiši lake settlement is one of the oldest and most vivid witnesses of Latvia’s historical legacy. The Āraiši Archaeological Park offers a unique opportunity to explore reconstructed wooden dwellings from the 9th–10th centuries, bringing to life the ancient lake settlement that once stood here. The park also includes the ruins of a 14th–17th century medieval stone castle and an open-air exhibition of Stone and Bronze Age dwellings on Meitu Island, making it a remarkable place where multiple layers of history come together in one scenic lakeside location.

Amata Nature Trail
The trail runs along the right bank of the river, winding through both the lower and upper parts of its valley, which means that in some sections hikers must overcome elevation differences of more than 40 meters. This route can be considered a form of geotourism, as it introduces visitors to Devonian-period dolomite and sandstone outcrops found in the glacially formed ancient Amata valley.

Āraiši Windmill
