Drabeši Manor Crafts House
Most of the workshops and studios at the Crafts House are located within the historic Drabeši Manor, offering a unique setting where tradition meets creativity.
From October to May, adults can join regular craft clubs and learn traditional Latvian skills such as:
- Pottery (white clay and brown clay groups)
- Weaving
- Playing and building the kokle (Latvian zither)
- Leatherworking
- Traditional shirt sewing
- And various seasonal masterclasses
Select workshops are also open to school groups, families with children, and other interested visitors.
Crafts House masterclasses are announced separately throughout the year.
Founded in 2011, Drabeši Manor Crafts House is operated by the Traditional Culture Initiative Centre “KasTe”, a non-profit organisation dedicated to preserving and sharing Latvia’s rich cultural heritage.
