A Place Rich in Cultural and Historical Heritage
Ratnieki is a cultural and historical landmark connected to one of Latvia’s most prominent industrial heritage figures—the owner of the textile company “Rīgas audums”, philanthropist, and supporter of the University of Latvia, Roberts Hirsch (1895–1972). He gifted “Ratnieki” to the University of Latvia in 1972, preserving its legacy for future generations.
