Summer in Cēsis is unimaginable without LAMPA. On July 10th and 11th, thoughts, ideas, and conversations will be buzzing in the air at the LAMPA festival in Cēsis Castle Park and around the town. Before or after the discussions, it’s worth taking some time to explore the city itself, because Cēsis is surprisingly versatile. Discover medieval history and contemporary art, enjoy how nature and gastronomy coexist in harmony, everything is easily accessible on foot, by bike, or scooter, and you’ll quickly get used to Cēsis’ fresh air and unhurried pace.

• Space Education Center

  On July 10 and 11, the Space Education Center will host a special day activity for kids – the little ones will have the chance to explore sound: how it is created, how it travels, and how signals are used in tools and rescue mechanisms in space. Through hands-on tasks and experiments, participants will engage their imagination, logic, and engineering thinking throughout the day. More information HERE.
  
• Žagarkalns Observation Tower (The Green Tower)
  Cīrulīšu iela 70, Cēsis
  A 22-meter-high tower on Cīruļkalns with a wide view over Cēsis and the Gauja River valley. The Cīrulīši nature trail leads to the tower – Mirror Cliffs, the legendary Bride’s Cave, Bell Cliffs, and fragments of old sledding tracks.

• “Siļķes” – The Jansons Family of Sculptors’ Home/Workshop

  The family home of the Janson family of sculptors since the 19th century, where sculptor Matiass Jansons currently lives and works. Explore the open-air sculpture garden and this cultural monument of national significance.
  
• The Global Center for Latvian Art

• Nordic Nature Medicine Museum

• Ruckas manor

• Rīgas street
