An exciting outdoor activity spot for friends and families. Enjoy laser tag in the open air, a remote-controlled car track and children’s quad bikes. A playground, picnic area and bonfire spot are also available. Activities must be booked at least one day in advance.

Līču-Laņģu Cliffs

A walk along the Līči-Laņģi Cliffs trail reveals sandstone cliffs up to 30 metres high, caves, niches and natural springs. The approximately 9 km looped trail winds through forest and along the cliffsides, offering one of the most scenic landscapes in the Gauja valley. Open year-round and free of charge.

Try your hand at baking rye bread, sweet-sour bread, pies and pastries, learn about the journey from grain to loaf, and taste home-cooked Latvian dishes made from produce grown on the farm. Edvards Treimanis-Zvārgulis Memorial “Leukādijas”
Leukādijas, Priekuļi Parish, +371 26370048

Not far from the confluence of the Rauna and Gauja rivers stands Leukādijas — the former home of poet, satirist and publisher Edvards Treimanis-Zvārgulis. He shared a close friendship with poet Eduards Veidenbaums — the two were schoolmates, and Treimanis-Zvārgulis was also the first publisher of Veidenbaums’ collected works. The historic house contains a memorial room with manuscripts, photographs and personal memorabilia. The poet, as per his own wishes, is buried in the garden. Leukādijas is a state-protected cultural monument. Open by prior appointment.

Mārsnēni Health Trail
Mārsnēni, Mārsnēnu Parish

Visit the sundial in Mārsnēni, surrounded by a health trail decorated with traditional Latvian symbols. Take off your shoes and walk along stones of different shapes and sizes, massaging the active zones of your feet. A small but charming stop where Latvian traditions meet active outdoor recreation.
