“Vēveri” Rural Exhibition
“Vēveri” is a traditional Piebalga-style cluster of farmer–artisan homesteads, with roots dating back to the mid-16th century. In the 19th century, weaving became the main source of income here, with 2 to 4 looms clattering in nearly every household.

Kārlis Skalbe Memorial Museum „Saulrieti”
This summer house was designed and built by Kārlis Skalbe himself, and the Skalbe family spent 18 summers here between 1926 and 1944. The interior remains just as it was during Skalbe’s lifetime, while the small attic spaces of the house host new exhibitions each season.
