Kazu Rock
This scenic sandstone cliff stretches approximately 340 metres in length and rises up to 15 metres in height. It is located on the left bank of the river, about one kilometre downstream from where the Rauna River flows into the Gauja River, along the main left bank.
Formed from reddish-yellow Gauja Formation sandstones, the cliff creates a striking natural outcrop that reflects the rich geological heritage of the Gauja National Park region.
