At “Kalāči”, visitors step into the world of Eduards Veidenbaums (1867–1892) – one of Latvia’s most iconic and progressive poets. From the age of five, this was his home: a place where he lived, studied, worked, and eventually died. The memorial museum was officially established in 1958, although admirers had been visiting long before then.
