Science Centre: Space Education Centre
At the Space Education Centre, visitors of all ages are invited to discover a world beyond Earth through an exciting and interactive exhibition. The displays explore topics such as the history of space exploration, life beyond our planet, and the physical and mental well-being of astronauts. Every exhibit offers a hands-on learning experience, bringing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to life through the captivating lens of space.

Space Mission “Auseklis”
Step into the shoes of an astronaut or take command at mission control during the immersive experience “Mission at Space Station Auseklis.”
This interactive activity is perfect for couples or pairs: One participant enters the mission control room, while the other heads to the orbital station “Auseklis.”
Working together in real-time via video and audio communication, the pair must complete a space mission. The control team gives instructions, while the astronaut carries them out in the station.
Each mission mimics real-life challenges aboard a space station, complete with unexpected twists that require problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to adapt quickly. Once the mission is complete, roles are swapped and a new mission begins!
Educational School Trips
During a guided educational visit, students will:
- Explore the greatest scientific discoveries in human history,
- Learn about current advancements in the space industry, and
- Test the skills required for life beyond Earth, just like real astronauts.
The centre’s exhibits are carefully designed to connect real space exploration to school curriculum subjects, making learning both meaningful and fun.
